Bavarian Salad Ingredients
- Ham 350 g
- Hard cheese 200 g
- Purple onion 4 pcs
- Salted cucumbers 4 pcs
- Green onions 1 bunch
- Parsley 0,5 bunch
- Mayonnaise 4 tbsp
- Sour cream 4 tbsp
- White wine vinegar 1 tbsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
Bavarian Salad Recipe
The recipe for German cuisine Bavarian salad is simple. Cut the ham into thin sticks, cheese into small cubes, red onion into thin rings, cucumbers into thin strips.
Chop the green onion, chop the parsley, but not finely. Whip mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar and mustard into foam, season with salt and pepper.
Mix everything and refrigerate for 4-5 hours so that the red onion marinates well. When the onion is marinated, put Bavarian salad into a salad bowl and serve.
