Ham braid - a French cuisine recipe, the braid is made from the same dough as the baguette. This is a filled bread that is very good as a snack or a snack.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 2 cups
Ham 6 slices
Dry Yeast 5 g
Water 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the ham braid recipe, mix half of the yeast with 0.5 cups of flour, half of the salt and pour 0.5 cups of warm water over everything. Mix well until liquid sour cream, cover with a towel and put in heat for 3-4 hours.

When the batter rises, add the remaining yeast diluted in warm water, add salt, 0.5 cups of flour and knead. Turn the dough out onto a floured board and knead for 15 minutes. Cover the dough with a towel and place in heat for 1 hour.

Divide the risen dough into 3 parts, shape into balls, cover with foil and set aside for 20 minutes. Flatten each ball with the palm of your hand, put two slices of ham in the middle, cover with the top of the dough and press with your palm.

Then cover with the bottom of the dough, press and fold in half, roll the bread on the table, giving it the shape of a small baguette. Cover with foil and let stand 1 hour.

Transfer the bread to a baking sheet, mark the cuts with scissors and cut with scissors at an angle of 45 degrees. Lay the sliced bread in a pigtail so that the pieces overlap, sprinkle with water and place in a preheated 220°C (430°F) oven. Bake ham braid for 25 minutes.
