Armenian lavash is a thin flatbread made from yeast dough and fried in a hot, dry frying pan. Armenian lavash is consumed like bread and is used in the recipes of many Armenian dishes.

For the Armenian lavash recipe, dilute the yeast in warm water, add salt. Slowly add flour to the diluted yeast. Knead the elastic dough and leave it in heat for 30 minutes.
After the dough has risen, divide into balls approximately 6 cm in diameter and roll out to a thickness of 1 mm.
Heat the pan, lay out a sheet of dough, as soon as the dough turns white and bubbles appear, turn the pita bread over. Fry each side of lavash for about 10-15 seconds.
