Lahmajo or lahmajoun is a dish whose recipe appeared in Armenian cuisine thanks to emigrants who returned home from Turkey.

Cooking Recipe
For lahmajo recipe, combine kefir with water and salt. Knead the elastic dough, gradually adding flour to the kefir mass. Divide the dough into 6-7 parts and let stand for 30 minutes under a napkin.
After the dough has rested, roll out each piece no thicker than 2 mm. Fry the rolled cakes in a hot dry frying pan for 2 minutes on each side.
Grind lamb in a meat grinder, add chopped onion, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper and mix with tomato juice.
Spread the minced meat evenly over the fried tortillas and bake in a dry pan at 180°C (355°F) for 20 minutes. Lahmajo is served hot.
