Apple pie is a recipe for American cuisine, the simplicity of American cuisine attracts, especially when there is no time. The aroma of the filling is given by cinnamon, lemon peel and of course juicy apples. To make the share softer and not crumbly, butter can be replaced with fat.

Recipe Ingredients

Baking Powder 1,5 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Eggs 2 pcs
For Filling
Apples 800 g
Lemon Zest 0.5 pcs
Clove 2 pcs
Cinnamon 1 pcs
Water 400 ml
Sugar 0.5 cup

Cooking Recipe

For the apple pie recipe, the first step is to cook the filling. Wash apples, cut into small cubes, add water, add sugar, cinnamon, lemon peel strips and cloves. Put the apple filling on medium heat and boil for 10 minutes. You do not need to cook for a long time so that the apples do not turn into mashed potatoes.

Mix flour with sugar, baking powder and grind with butter into crumbs. Then add eggs and knead the dough. Roll the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Separate 1/3 of the prepared apple pie dough. Roll out most of it into a layer slightly larger than the shape. Grease the form with butter and cover the bottom and sides of the form with dough.

Put the filling from apples into the mold, but without spices and liquid. Roll out the remaining dough into a layer, cover it with a share, cut off the edges and press down with a fork.

Place apple pie in a preheated oven at 180°C (355°F) and bake for 30 minutes. Apple pie can be served with vanilla cream or a scoop of ice cream.
