Tandyr nan (Obi non) are homemade Uzbek flatbreads made from yeast dough. A drawing is applied to the cake with the help of a cut, then the cakes are baked in the tandoor.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 1.2 kg
Water 800 ml
Dry Yeast 4 tsp
Salt 2 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Vegetable Oil 8 tbsp
Eggs 1 pcs

Cooking Recipe

For the tandyr nan (obi non) recipe, dilute the yeast in warm water, add salt, sugar, oil and mix everything well. Add sifted flour and knead elastic dough.

Divide the prepared dough into 8-10 parts. Roll out each part approximately 1 cm thick, cover with a towel and let the dough rise for 15 minutes.

After the dough has risen, apply any pattern, you can simply make a few notches with your fingers, brush flatbreads with a lightly beaten egg and bake at 200°C (390°F), 10-15 minutes. If desired, after greasing with an egg, the flatbreads are sprinkled with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, etc.
