Beef stew with vegetables (Stifado) is a Greek recipe that can be served in the bowl it was cooked in.

For the stifado recipe, wash the meat, pat dry and cut into portions. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meat on it until golden brown, pour the meat with vinegar, bring to a boil, and then transfer the meat to a bowl for further baking.
Finely chop the onion, fry in the same pan where the meat was fried. Transfer the fried onion to the meat. Add finely chopped garlic, finely chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, sugar, orange zest and juice to the meat and onion, salt, pepper, pour wine over and mix.
Cover the stifado dish with a lid and place in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 2 hours. stifado can be served in the same bowl in which the dish was baked.
