Khingal is a recipe for Azerbaijani cuisine. Sometimes, when frying minced meat for khingal, tomato paste is added - khingal becomes more juicy and acquires an interesting taste.

Recipe Ingredients

For Dough
Wheat Flour 450-500 g
Water 250 ml
Chicken Eggs 1 pcs
For Minced Meat
Beef Meat 500 g
Onion 4 pcs
Butter 100 g
For Sauce
Kefir 500 ml
Garlic 1 head

Cooking Recipe

For khingal from flour, water, eggs and salt, knead a stiff dough, roll it out 1-2 mm thick and cut into small squares. Scroll the meat in a meat grinder with the addition of onions, salt, pepper and fry in butter until tender.

Kefir mixed with chopped garlic and salt. Boil the dough sheets in salted water and place them on a plate. Pour the sauce over the boiled dough sheets, and put the fried minced meat on top. Serve khingal hot.
