Liver cutlets is a recipe of Ukrainian cuisine, a dish cooked from beef liver with the addition of white cabbage. Liver cutlets are distinguished by good taste and low cost. The use of cabbage in the recipe for liver patties greatly improves their taste and gives the liver patties lightness and fluffiness.

Recipe Ingredients

Onion 1 pcs
Potatoes 2 pcs
Eggs 1 pcs
Wheat Flour 3 tbsp
Soda 0.5 tsp
Citric Acid 0.5 tsp

Cooking Recipe

To cook the recipe of Ukrainian cuisine liver cutlets, peel the onion and potatoes and cut into small pieces. Liver and cabbage also cut into small pieces.

Mince the chopped products through a meat grinder, add soda, salt, citric acid, flour and ground black pepper. After that, beat the egg into the minced meat for liver cutlets and mix everything well until smooth.

Heat the frying pan, pour in the vegetable oil, and then put the minced liver with a tablespoon. Cover the pan with the liver cutlets and fry for 2-3 minutes, and then turn over and fry on the other side. It is very convenient to fry such cutlets in a pan with recesses, since minced meat for cutlets is quite liquid and does not hold its shape well.

Transfer the fried liver cutlets to a paper towel and let excess fat drain, and then serve.
