Meat pita (kıymalı pide) – Turkish cuisine recipe, flatbread with minced meat and sweet pepper. Pide is somewhat reminiscent of Italian pizza or Adjarian khachapuri only with meat. If you think the minced meat is dry, you can add a little water if desired. You can sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.

Butter 25 g

Sugar 1 tsp

Minced Beef 400 g
Onion 1-2 pcs
Bell Pepper 1 pcs
Greens 2 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

The meat lavash recipe is very simple. Mix melted margarine or butter with warm milk, beat in an egg. Mix everything and add salt and sugar. Mix dry yeast with flour and combine with liquid mixture. Knead the dough and put it in a warm place for 1 hour.

While the dough is rising, you can prepare the filling. Finely chop the onion and pepper and mix with minced meat. Salt and pepper, add spices. Finely chop the greens and add to the pide mince.

After the dough rises, divide it into 4 parts and roll into oval cakes. In each cake, make bumpers, put the prepared minced meat, grease the bumpers with oil.

Prepared in this way pide, put on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 20 minutes.
