Bulgarian strawberry pierecipe of Bulgarian cuisine, the pie is made from yeasty pastry, when serving, the pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar mixed with ground cinnamon.

Recipe Ingredients

Milk 500 ml
Wheat Flour 400 g
Butter 100 g
Dry Yeast 1 tsp
Chicken Eggs 2 pcs
Sugar 125 g
Cognac 2 tbsp
Strawberry 500 g

Cooking Recipe

To cook the Bulgarian strawberry pie recipe, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Add eggs, melted butter, sugar, salt, rum and mix well. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough. Pie dough doesn't have to be tough.

Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle with flour and put the prepared dough into it. Leave the dough to rise for 15-20 minutes.

Sort the strawberries, rinse, dry, put on the cake that has come up and put in the oven preheated to 200°C (390°F). Bake strawberry pie for 30 minutes. When serving, sprinkle strawberry pie with powdered sugar mixed with ground cinnamon.
