Fried carrot balls - a recipe from Turkish cuisine, the balls are very soft, almost airy.

Recipe Ingredients

Carrots 2 kg
Garlic 2 cloves
Parsley 1 bunch
Green Onions 1 bunch
Dill 1 bunch
Eggs 1 pcs
Breadcrumbs 3 tbsp
Wheat Flour 1 cup
Vegetable Oil 0.5 cup
For Sauce
Sour Cream 3-4 tbsp
Garlic 3 cloves
Lemon Juice 3 tbsp

Cooking Recipe

For the fried carrot balls recipe, wash and steam the carrots until tender, about 30 minutes. Cool the cooked carrots and peel them.

Scroll carrots, garlic, green onions, herbs and dried apricots in a meat grinder, salt, pepper, mix and let it brew for 20-30 minutes. Then add the egg, breadcrumbs to the carrot mixture and knead the dough.

Pour flour onto a flat plate, spread the carrot mixture with a teaspoon and roll into balls. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry the carrot balls in it until golden brown. Place fried carrot balls on a paper towel. To prepare the sauce, mix sour cream with lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Put the carrot balls on a dish and serve with the sauce.
