Cooking Recipe

The recipe for patyr bread is very simple. Add sugar, yeast and a tablespoon of flour to warm milk and water, mix everything. Mix the remaining flour with salt and sift. Pour milk with yeast and melted but cooled butter into the flour, knead a stiff dough, cover and put in a warm place for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, knead the dough, cover and put it in a warm place again for 1 hour. Knead the dough again, divide into 2 pieces, form balls, cover and put it in a warm place until it rises.

Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make a hole in the middle and pierce with a fork to create a pattern, and cut the edges with scissors. Cover patyr and let rest for 15 minutes. Then brush with egg mixed with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds and place in an oven preheated to 220°C (430°F) for 20-25 minutes.
