Oat scones – a recipe for British cuisine, oatmeal for breakfast can be served as such buns.

Recipe Ingredients

Wheat Flour 1.5 cups
Oat Flakes 2 cups
Sugar 2 tbsp
Baking Powder 2 tbsp
Raisins 2 tbsp
Eggs 1 pcs
Butter 100 g
Milk 80 ml

Cooking Recipe

To cook a British recipe oat scones, mix sifted flour with oatmeal, sugar, baking powder and raisins.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with milk and melted butter.

Mix the resulting with a mixture of flour and oatmeal, you get a sticky dough.

Roll out the finished oatmeal dough into a 2 cm thick flipper, use a notch or a glass to cut out round cakes.

Spread a baking sheet with butter or sprinkle with flour, put oat scones on it and bake in an oven preheated to 190-200°C (375-390°F) for 15 minutes.

Serve ready scones for tea or coffee with butter and jam or preserves.
