Thin and crispy oatmeal cookies - a recipe for Scottish cuisine, many people think of porridge when it comes to oatmeal, but a lot of interesting dishes can be prepared from the same oatmeal. One such dish is oatmeal thin cookies, another variation of the oatmeal cookie recipe.

Recipe Ingredients

Oat Flakes 90 g
Hard Cheese 3 tbsp
Egg Yolk 1 pcs
Milk 2 tbsp
Butter 50 g
Soda 1 pinch
Salt 1 pinch

Cooking Recipe

For thin and crispy oatmeal cookies, mix flour with salt, baking soda and oat flakes. Grate cheese and add to flour and cereal. Then add butter or fat and grind until crumbly. Add milk to the dough for oatmeal cookies, knead and leave the dough for 10 minutes under the film.

Put the rested dough for oat flake cookies on a floured board, sprinkle flour on top of the dough and roll out a layer 2-3 mm thick. Using a saucer, cut out circles from the dough and cut each circle into 4 parts.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper, lay out the oatmeal cookies, brush the yolks around the edges of the cookies and place in a preheated 200°C (390°F) oven. Bake thin oatmeal cookies for 12-13 minutes.
