Homemade cornbread is a British recipe, this bread can be served for breakfast with an egg.

Recipe Ingredients

Cornmeal 125 g
Wheat Flour 125 g
Baking Powder 1 tbsp
Eggs 2 pcs
Yogurt 300 ml
Milk 100 ml
Butter 50 g
Hot Pepper 1 pcs
Green Onions 4-5 pcs
Garlic 2 cloves
Parsley 4-5 twigs
Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Recipe

For the homemade cornbread recipe, mix cornmeal with wheat flour, baking powder and salt.

Beat eggs with yogurt, in a separate bowl beat milk with softened butter.

Combine eggs with yogurt, milk with butter, mix, add finely chopped chili without seeds, chopped herbs and garlic. Mix everything well and, gradually adding flour, knead the dough, which resembles sour cream in consistency.

Cover the baking dish with parchment, grease with butter and pour the prepared dough for cornbread into it. Bake the bread in a preheated 200°C (390°F) oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
